By harnessing the power of Islam as a unifying force, we aim to create a positive and lasting change to those we serve. We are fully committed to helping our communities reach their greatest potential through fashioning opportunities that tackle issues of disadvantage and exclusion head-on.
Project Milestones.
We have split our fundraising into three deliverables.
Approach
With the Masjid now established, we will phase launch all our services and provisions, ignite our drive to light the path to a brighter future.
Outcome
- Open the Masjid early 2025.
- Launch all services and provisions.
- Introduce phase four which is focused on sustainability through the setup of our very own waqf (endowment) scheme.
Approach
One the site is acquired, we will progress onto phase two and our second batch of fundraising - with a target of £250,000 to be raised. This money will be used to renovate the building into a state of the art masjid and Islamic centre that will pioneer the highest level of Islamic and community based outreach and grassroots work.
Outcome
- Generate the requisite funds needed to complete this phase.
- Complete the renovation and refurbishment of the building.
- Aim to finish this stage of the project by the end of 2024.
Approach
Through championing our work, we will appeal to an eclectic group of donors and lenders - as well as the wider community - to join us on our mission. Avenues of match funding and endowments will also be explored to help reach the target of £850,000.
Outcome
- Generate the requisite funds needed to complete the purchase.
- Exchange contracts by the end of Ramadan 2024.
- Maintain momentum and launch phase two.
